FCPX is behind on Cap Cut though when it comes to social media creation. Their sequence/effect library is very early 2000s, they have no options for subtitle generation, audio is limited… if someone’s actively producing social media content I recommend Cap Cut Pro, because Apple seems to have fallen asleep with FCPX.

Maybe my perspective might help. I absolutely love Cap Cut tried the free and jumped right away on the pro version. Now it's just my opinion however I come from a professional background of 25 plus years as a multimedia artist. I've worked professionally on pretty much every editor out there from Premier Pro/Final Cut/ Sony Vegas etc.

Then you download a capcut exe to install, but this time upon install it shows a popup when you log in to insert the invitation code that is also shown in the link. However capcut seems to know if you had it downloaded on desktop previously.
