Found the hidden 'Library' folder and moved the MachinePrefs.psp file to the desktop, restarted Photoshop and then shut down and restarted the computer and still the same issue when trying to use a gradient map. I noticed that inside my library folder there doesn't appear to be a Photoshop 23 Settings folder?

Gradient map slider doesn't update image in real time
WEBMar 21, 2024 · Gradient map slider doesn't update image in real time. Gradient maps only live-update in the navigator window and not in the main image until I let go of the slider (in the gradient editor panel). All other sliders appear unaffected and update main image whilst sliding. This means I'm unable to make any fine adjustments.

The menu, in the top right corner looks also very different from what I've seen here (as you can see in screenshot). The Legacy Gradients option is missing entirely. This is driving me crazy.
