WEBCSX only has twenty, #4831-#4850. That is a very small part of the total built; even more important, it is only a very small part of the CSX fleet. CSX just really doesn't want these units; end of story. You can't judge anything based upon CSX's actions as they are nothing but a bunch of dumbasses incapable of even operating a Lionel starter ...

WEBThese are the standard, flared radiator SD70MAC's, just like the last 75 units delivered. CSX #4784 is here in Louisville,KY, having just arrived from VMV via the Paducah & Louisville RR. The 20 Tier II compliant SD70ACe's should sometime soon head for CSX rails. These units are numbered CSX #4831-4850, which is directly after the last SD70MAC.

WEBJust got my copy of Trains annual Locomotive issue. They claim CSX has 10 SD70ACe-T4's on order. This is the first time in 15 or more years they ordered EMD.
Tower 55 SD70ACe and NS GEVO message to modelers
WEBYesterday I received in snail mail a newly updated Tower 55 Catalog update #2. The update letter states on page 2 of 2 under the SD70ACe update that "they anticipate delivering the first batch of SD70ACe beginning in May and lasting through the summer to deliver a total of 9 different UP paint schemes". CSX and BNSF units will follow after those.
